Chelsea Market shopping centre is an entire city block between 9th and 10th Avenues and 15th and 16th Street. It was originally constructed in the 1890’s as a Nabisco factory where the Oreo cookie was invented. Today, Chelsea Market encompasses the heart and soul of NYC’s Meatpacking District, and is full of vendors offering fresh fish, meat, cheese, produce and imported goods.
