The Bronx County Courthouse building construction was completed in 1935. The ten-story limestone building has outgrown its original judicial purposes. At one point the building was so packed it was reported that jurors deliberated in storage rooms. It was registered as a NYC landmark in 1976. Today, the building holds all municipal borough functions.

CBA Elevator Consultants is providing modernization services for 20 elevators and 2 wheelchair lifts in the building as a subconsultant for The Liro Group.
